I have been active in Viking, Saxon and Medieval re-enactment for over 30 years. Mercia Sveiter traded at many events both in the UK and over Europe. We decided a few years ago that putting up tents in the rain was no longer the fun it used to be so decided to retire. Unable to leave completely we now trade on line, mainly selling the bronze castings that we are known for plus many other items left in stock. Many items are in short supply and will not be repeated so have a look now because if you leave it you may be out of luck!

Help requested please. My last webman disappeared and took my website with him so I lost most of the historical provenances for my items. I have used Wayback archive but it only drills back so far. If anyone can provide any information that I can add to the item descriptions this will help everyone to get things right and I will be very grateful. Email; [email protected]

The new USA postage game still allows sending of up to $100 worth as personal mail. We can do this.
For the UK, All orders under £135 sent to UK are also exempt. Link to UK gov info..
As everything can be sent from Spain there are no additional taxes to pay for anything sent within Europe. 

Due to Amazon’s change of policy which seems designed to penalise Hand Made small traders I have now stopped selling through Amazon. They decided to only reimburse for items that they lost or damaged at a nominal rate invented by them (about half the previous rate) often far less than it costs to make. They will not explain or talk about it!

I cannot afford Amazon’s ever increasing fees. As I am no longer paying these fees I might as well pass on the savings to my customers. For pewter, gold/silver plated items I now offer a 10% discount. Go to your shopping cart and add the coupon code AmazonSucks and the discount will automatically be calculated.
